I'm guessing he's in his fifties, has a bushy beard, is about 40 lbs overweight and likes to work on classic jeeps. He also may be carrying a dump in his pants...hard to tell.

Oh haha, now that you say it, it's totally obviously tape.

Ha ha- Viva beat me to it. But that is Jeepeto, my mechanic- great mechanic, but I don't understand a word the guy says. Guy running the lift is his assistant, and translator.

My specs- Scorpio, 38, likes long walks on the beach, and in the evening I'll sing you love songs on my guitar....(name that movie)

    Jeep specs.
    1979 CJ7
Bought, not built. Well, not really- Built, but not by me, mostly.

    Orig. Equipment-
    Engine- 304 AMC V8
    Body and paint.
Otherwise, everything has been upgraded from the original 1979 specs.

    Extras-
    B4 me-
Dana 44 rear, Dana 30 front, 2 inch body, 2 1/2 inch OME springs, M.O.R.E reverse shackle, all new Heims steering, swaybar disconnects, 35 15X12.50 BFG MTR.
    TH400 Auto Transmission
    After me-
Toyo Open Country MT 15X13.50 35's
    Mahogany veneered custom dashboard
Tuffy box center console with radio
    Edelbrock Shorty headers
    Flowmaster dual exhaust
Por 15 on the entire undercarriage and tub.
    Deutsch Tech shocks
Holley 4 bbl carb (ethanol killed the first 4 bbl that was on there.)
Lengthened Front driveshaft- only thing PO didn't cover in his lift and axle conversion.

Here is what it looked like when I got it home from SC-

    Future-
YJ Family style roll bar full cage conversion
    Rugged Ridge frameless top
Durabak interior (gonna do this in January)
    Paint- original color and decals
Corbeau Baja SS seats in black vinyl- ass burners in FL, but they look soooo nice.
I'm sure a couple hundred more things.

    Most recent Pic-

Glad you like it. She is my baby.
Bought her 6 years ago with 92,000 miles showing(god knows if that was actually 192,000 or 292,000)
Odometer now shows 2260, she is being babied.

Aside from the carb issue, The Beast has never missed a beat. Drove it home from Myrtle Beach- 9 hours.
I looked for this exact Jeep for 5 years on Classic Car Trader.

Just picked this up about a month ago for $2500, (incl reg taxes) and gave it a full tune up, and some new shoes, (wheels off of a 3rd gen 4Runner sport). 1991 Land Cruiser, 198xxx miles. Runs like a top now.

value on those things is screwy, new they were less, than used with 100k and rusty. I bought a 110 for 18k 4 years ago. I don't want to say what we flipped it for. we gave it away......

The NAS's should keep their value for decades to come even with the influx of 80 something trucks. I didn't buy mine to make money, I bought mine to wheel in and as a summer daily driver. A 97 was sold on e-bay with 1700 miles on it and it went for $96,000 while at the same time I saw a 94 with 175,000 go for $12,000. Crazy indeed!
