God Damnit! I REALLY hope they announce a US tour this fall...

I saw them at Lollapalooza in 03 or 04 before I really knew much of their music... loudest goddamn band I've seen and probably one of the best. They're now probably #1 on my list.

Wish he'd play some Kyuss covers live though...

I hear that. I hope they tour again soon, too. I saw them on their Duluth tour and they rocked my shit for 1.5 hours straight. It's amazing how good they sound live, and incredible how they can stop and start over and over at the exact same time without anyone being off in a song. Very impressive.

I totally hear that. I'm secretly hoping John Garcia is in town at the same time and we get this...

    Hope this works.

Saw them on May 1 in Victoria. Definately one of the better rock shows I've been to - they were unbelievable live. I mean, I like their albums, but the live show was on a whole new level - it was fucking rad. You should definately be stoked when they start moving in your direction....

I love this band, but I'm not a big fan of their latest album. I find myself skipping most of the songs when they come up on my ipod.

That said, their first 4 albums killed it. And their live show is pretty awesome.

I saw Queens once at Slim's in San Fran.

They had Dave Grohl with them on skins.

    Show was the bomb.

Vowed to never see them again.

I've held true to my word on that, too.

That tour was definitely awesome. Though it paled in comparison to their tour in support of their debut. [/bitter old music fan].

Homme rocks, and lets face it, qotsa rocks. Nevertheless, I do miss this, although the situation surrounding Nick's departure is fucked...

Well, fellow concert goer...I'll give you my impression. Kirby isn't the only one seeing them in Ottawa.

I've seen QOTSA open for RCHP during the By The Way tour (?). Also really looking forward for the Cure on Wednesday in Montreal (I've had ticket since last July - postponed show). Didn't see them since 1996.

Well, the show was pretty fuckin' sick.

Pot cookies, Mugison, and QOTSA make for a pretty fun evening.

No 'Mexicola', but they did play 'How to Handle a Rope' and 'Regular John'. They actually mixed the set up and pulled pretty evenly from all albums. Even got a short rendition of 'Bad' and 'The Safety Dance' by Canada'a own Men Without Hats. Light show was awesome (I had a few transcendental moments) and holy shit does 'Burn the Witch' sound friggin' awesome live. And oh yah, I caught a little of Mugison. It was weird, but he and his band rocked out.

All and all, it was an awesome evening.
