Our new addition Butters obliged me with a cameo. Fresh mozzy/unsmoked provolone on both, soprasata mushroom vs prosciutto pineapple. Killer diller

Have you ever tried crushed pineapple instead of the chunks? I highly recommend it. Drain it first

Thanks, a lot of trial and lots of errors developing a decent 8500ft crust.

Will look into this. The chunks in juice were good, and not overpowering, but I want to try the ones in syrup to see if they brown a little more. Might as well be crushed.

I feel like such a traitor but some of these new cauliflower crusts are really good. I've been making my own sauce and using fresh smoked mozz, fresh basil, roast peppers and sauteed onion and it's been sooo good.

Don't mean to be a h8r, but those last two posts are cringeworthy. Thank God this isn't a PA meeting.

Meh, a little carbon never hurt anyone. I dig the cast iron pan, and it’s only a hair over…

So this was a thing I did about a month ago. Mostly sliced mission figs with a couple of dates, mascarpone and a honey-balsamic drizzle. It didn’t suck.

Tonight, pretty straight-forward pepperoni/mushroom and a prosciutto/pepperoni/ricotta/mushroom/leftoverture pies to celebrate puppeh’s successful first full day at the office.

Kind of fell down on the sausage pie, but redeemed myself with the roni.

I thought that there were flames coming out the side of the ooni. Just the reflection of the lights though.

    Side-pipes would be pretty bad-ass.

I bought my wife and Ooni Koda 16 for Christmas. She's had a lot of fun perfecting her dutch oven bread over the last year or two, so I think she'll have fun with pizza dough.

And I hope she does, as I love pizza and the offerings in our town are mediocre at best.
