Late Spring Uinta Beta

I'm looking for some information on a late spring trip up to the Uintas. I was tenatively planning on going May 30th through June 1st for a weekend camp/ski/fish trip. If the road is still shut down (I'm thinking it will be at this point), I have access to a sled or an atv to get within reasonable hiking distance. I know the area well, but have never gotten around to making it up for some turns. Thanks

Heyo-

I'm also looking for some spring beta for the Uintas as well. A busy work schedule kept me out of the Wasatch in March and April...need some more turns before I put the skis away.

If anyone has suggestions for tours or guidebooks, I'd certainly appreciate it.

Hey, me too!

Apparently the road closure is now set to last through June... anyone know if the gate is actually closed or if they opened it and you can only drive until the snow covers the road like some years? I'm looking to head up that way tomorrow for a hike but if we can't get past Soapstone I need to rethink my plans...

Highway 150 is plowed to where the Murdoch Basin Road heads off to the right, but past there it's snow covered and there's no more driving. It was melting pretty well today but the snow on the road gets deep fast so it will probably be a while before it's clear unless they decide to plow early.

I'm making my way to Kings Peak and hope to ski it this weekend. Still looking for more to join in.
