I think Ted's the winner.
The angle of the photo closes some of the chutes and makes it a tough call.
Both of you are correct, Snowbasin it is. I figured MD or one of the Basin locals would quickly get it, nice job Ted.
Neither AD's nor Roo's photos ring a bell with me?
In the spirit of random one pieces spotted on the hill, here's another easy one.
Thanks for playing,

Here's a hint: Go east from DINMS' guess by 100 miles or so.
Bob Mc's latest picture: Well, that's gotta be Lake Tahoe, so that limits it somewhat. I'll guess Squaw Valley.

With absolutely no reason for guessing this, I'm going to say Powder Mountain, Utah.
I've never been to Utah so this is truly a shot in the dark!

I know this'll be easy for at least a couple of you, but...
It's also really easy to cheat, so don't.

I'm guessing that AD's first pic is Big Mountain and the second one is Crystal. Been to Big Mo many times, never been to Crystal. But that photo looks like an OB area that some boarders were swept away in an avy a few seasons ago. I recall a description of the area and that looks pretty much like the place.
