"And that is your classic Alaskan Tomahawk!"

Damn that looked painful, but that was a sweet attempted line

The skis stuck in the snow was classic. Great shot. Nice shot of a pair of Bros later on.

What's with all the POV stuff? I've never seen them incorporate any of it, yet I see a number of guys with cams on their heads. WTF? It would be great to be able to switch footage in real time, but even after the fact would be cool too...

its steeper than it looks! Tomahawks looking harsh!

Turn up those DIN settings so we don't have to wait for ski recovery.

Or just don't crash. Last guy almost went careening into the rocks!

I can't believe I'm missing this - I bet it'll be a fun couple of days in old Girdwood Splat, next time you're coming to town, you better give me a heads up! It's pretty funny to see so many rockstars in town and on Turnagain Pass though - 12 people on the skin track the other day - I thought I was in the Wasatch for a minute!

Good luck to the competitors - great to see a good chunk of local boys! No local girls though - what's up with that?!?

The last guy with a POV was Dave Wintzer - Bluehouse skier. We'll be posting the POV vid after he gets back...if it comes out good. I told him to stick his landings so we could get good footage. Looks like it worked.

Right, fluidity. Kriffor's and Kent's run was really fluid. he's in first place for his fluidity, it seems.

i bet those guys read SKI.
