On this topic... wow 2008. I grew up riding east coast terminal pretty much at the height of bmx in the early 2000s. This takes me back. Haven't ridden a bmx bike in probably close to 10 years. Much more into gravel/road/mtn biking these days, but videos like this are why I can not get over how much cooler bmx videos are than mtn bike vids:

    Tag was a savage.

There's too many more. I haven't kept up with bmx in probably 10yrs as well. The only edits I occasionally watch are from bone deth and this recently reminded me of the FBM ghetto street jam:

One of Courage's videos came up in my feed the other day... mind-blowing manual skills.

It’s crazy how much things have changed. Triple tail whip on a tiny little jump? Insane. I lived on a BMX bike all through middle and high school and some of college. But I grew up watching Matt Hoffman do stuff like the first 180 backflip. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SfVZfN1LB6Y

I wonder how concussed he was after a few of those attempts. I also have whiplash just watching it... but so monumental.

That's nuts. Sooo many techy moves. The rail rides always impress me - here I am feeling like a 6-8" skinny is tricky, and those guys are bunning hopping up onto a 2" rail.

This guy has some impressive rail ride combos too:

I caught some of Etnies Chapters last night on tv and the old man in me was cringing at the fact that none of these guys were wearing helmets. There were some real bad falls complete with heads crashing into pavement. TBH it was hard to watch some parts.

That's rad. Saw the drop on insta, but cool to see the background.

Fairly shitty that they ripped out all of the stair forms to get it done though.

Ya it was nice to see the whole process. That curb on the roof and the beam add a little spice. Enough consequence that I’d call it a sniper trani. Not pretty to f that up. Had some late 90’s fear flashbacks
