MCS-T for the stock. Similar to an EH1 but a little more angle and longer wrist-a bit more traditional hunting stock. I was comparing the stock Rev put on his Tikka...don't remember which but was a Manners. My Tikka has a factory plastic stock I kryloned. Yours looks pretty sweet regardless.

I had a new experience today. When I was checking out on lucky gunner. I was required to take a picture of my photo I’d. “for age verification “
Then got email saying your verified photo on file won’t have to do it again
New thing
Just sayin

Well, looking at a TTI JW3 Combat Master. Turns out TTI pops your card when you order and sits on the money for about 150 days until the pistol is shipped. I don't mind a deposit, but chunk down $7k and wait???

That was my thought. Put down a $1,000 non-refundable deposit. Next guy in line is happy, TTI gets an extra $1,000.
Other than the JW3 factor, I think I would rather custom build an Infinity. Probably higher quality anyway. In order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... (insert latest democratic blunder of your choice).

Yep, but retail on them is $6,999 new with a 150 day wait.

A stainless Infinity with orange or red accents would be neat.In order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... (insert latest democratic blunder of your choice).

Must be nice to have $7K to drop on a hand cannon.

Gotta justify it a different way. I have made good money buying and selling some firearms. Just have to know which ones. Kick myself for not picking up more machine guns, but who the hell would know they would double in value ever 5 years. Unfortunately the market has stabilized, and the increase in value has become more moderate.
The original series TTI JW guns were selling for $2,000 on Dawson Precision's website when first released. I looked and said that's stupid for a tricked out STI 2011. Duuuuuhhhhh, little did I know.
I haven't ever lost money on a quality firearm. You may have to hold it a year or two for the rebound, but they typically increase in value.
Only exception are used suppressors, and often they won't justify the transfer tax because the technology is changing so quickly. In order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... Cross post from guns tech talk, per suggestions:
Glock folks — I inherited a 1987 Glock 17, serial # in the low 700s. I think this is a Gen 1, and maybe in the first year of import? I’m really a shotgun guy, but will probably take is to a decent local gun shop/range and have someone take a look at it. Any specific things I should be watching out for? F-I-L was pretty conscientious with his tools, looks like it’s in good shape, original Tupperware and two pre-ban magazines and plastic loading tool. Internet shows some love for early import 17s, but mainly safe queens for collectors me thinks. Thanks.
