I have a 200 yard range off my back porch in Chester.

I limit my back porch shooting to .22s most of the time. Even then I'm using a can.

My neighbors are great and most are retired and prefer I didn't blast away and disturb the tranquility of their twilight years. I'd rather be a good neighbor that some cunt trying to prove a point about my property rights.

I even gave the lady next door a head's up before shooting my new Henry, and even then I only fired two shots. She's retired judge and I think death threats forced her to move to the country, and told me gunfire makes her uneasy.

And you can count on one hand my rules for safe gun handling, and not mixing intoxicants and guns is number one.

It isn't an overly expensive scope, but Cabela's makes a caliber specific for 45-70 that is calibrated for Hornady's leverrevolution rounds. I've found it to be quite accurate on my Marlin guide gun
