So... Very timely. I have been putting some thought into various options for a 5.56 "PDW" pistol with brace. So far an AR-15 pistol with a brace seems more affordable. However, being able to side fold is huge. Any and all reasonable options?

Anyone shoot IDPA? Holster suggestions for a Glock 17? The Black Scorpion, Blade Tech, and Comp-Tac seem to be the popular ones.

Scope and mount for the Scar show up Monday/Tuesday. I'm very excited.

Also, I love high-altitude ranges. At 6k ft, even 5.56 is great out beyond 600 yds.

I picked up a Crosman Fire .177 air rifle yesterday for backyard plinking and varmint control. Came with a cheesy Center Point 4 x 32 scope and there's no fixed sights on it. Any recs for an upgraded scope? I only paid about $100 for the rifle so don't want to spend much for the optics.

All kinds of luck here recently -

Mount came today but in a 34mm version, so no mounting the scope until I get the correct 30mm version after Thanksgiving.

Local gun shop had a hell of a deal on a Glock 19 MOS, which I thought I had successfully passed up. Then Optics Planet had a deal where I got a JPoint red dot for $100 shipped. Now I'm going to have to go back and buy the Glock. Whoops.
