That looks like a 50 cal. The kind out of a Ma Deuce or Barret rifle.

A parent attending a high school volleyball tournament at Gladstone High School on Saturday left his gun in a bathroom, and it was later seized by police, the school district said this week.
A visiting team's coach found the handgun on top of a toilet paper dispenser in a bathroom near the gym, picked it up, took it out of the school and called police, Gladstone School District Superintendent Bob Stewart said in an email to parents. The coach later told the tournament director about the discovery.
No one was injured. Stewart said the district is grateful for the coach's "quick and appropriate action to protect students."
A parent later told a building supervisor that he'd left his gun in a bathroom stall and forgot to pick it up, the statement said. He had a concealed weapons permit.
Federal Offense to have a firearm on school property. Not sure how he would get off with just a slap on the wrist.

WCC headstamp is Western Cartridge Co (Olin), 04 is the datestamp. Looks like a fiddy cal case. Bust out a caliper and grab some dimensions if you want a definitive answer on caliber.

wcc is winchester. The above is correct.
I've never seen 50 bmg from winchester.

It could be some H and H type monster but looking at the point of the 308 to the neck of the brass of the other one. I would bet 50 bmg.

And someone missed most of it. Would hardly kill anything that way.

Anyone have stats on average IQ between gun owners/regulars? I'm guessing that as with the inverse correlation to penis size you would see something similar with large guns and smart people.

50 BMG is good fun. I got to play with an M2, known as THE Browning Machine Gun, for a bit today, shooting at mothballed tanks at 400m. The tanks were surprisingly hard to hit, even with the weapon on a tripod. The 240s and 249s are way way easier to handle. Red-tipped rounds are tracers. It's kinda neat to watch them arc into the hill behind the things.

Tell you what. My nephew, the one that owns 3 car shops and a Rent a Race Car business, makes trips from Rochester to Florida in the spring to bring his customers Lambo's and Maseratis north for the summer. How about he stops by your place and you can give him some pointers on how to be a success in the car business? Sound like a plan? You could really laugh at me then.

HS Grad. 35 y o. Has 15 techs working for him in 3 locations. Buys and sells. Endurance Races, Race team rental, Transport, etc, etc. Not a one trick pony like you. You might have business interests in common. Your weed business will not impress him nor will your wife's ass. So what do you say?

The kid is living my dream for sure. At 19 I was racing motorcycles for the shop I worked and planning to be a race mechanic at but had to go to Canada for school and a deferment instead of pursuing my dream. Life's twists. Not sure if the nephas made big coin on one deal but you can mentor him to be a success like you. You might have sold a car he's worked on or shipped. Maybe one of your customers has rented is crew and car to spin laps at The Glen. It is a small world. So, I'll hook you up?
