That’s funny; when I was a kid, I found my dad’s 22 and 38 revolvers hidden in his workshop. 20 years later, I mentioned what I found, and he denied owning any pistols. They’re still where I found them. Makes me wonder what he used them for...

This one went for $380 30 days ago.

The scar 22's are sleeved barrel crap and are to be avoided at all costs.
Thanks! Wasn't even considering the Sig but now totally target locked on pulling the trigger on one.

Not to mention your gun shop made some money too!

Good on you for supporting local business!
Local guy. Great fellow. I can walk to his house from mine in 4 minutes. Retired from police force, been an FFL since he got out of the military in late '60s. Very nice. Has known Olympic biathlon team members. Understands why or why you don't want to have guns. Thinks that gun safety and etiquette are gone. Among his extensive and metal barricaded collection in his house, has a Vietnam era Marine sniper Rem 700 with a Nikon scope.

Back on track. New P320 compact 9mm. Also going to get the conversion kit for .40SW. Very cool system with the actual serial numbered gun only being the trigger system you can swap to other calibers. This replaces my previous CCW, Kel-Tec P11, which I've carried 10 years.

I came across a Smith & Wesson 22/32 probably early 20’s while cleaning out the MIL’s garage at a property before the place sold but the firing pin is broken

I spent the last day going around and around on this one. Advice? New? Used? Best easiest inexpensive upgrades? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pew...-triggers/amp/ ?

Full disclosure: In my mind I started the discussion at either an Excel Accelerator .22 WMR or a Kel-Tec CMR-30. Bahaha. The savings on the 10/22 can go to upgrades and oh ya, I want a single shot 20ga for my son to rabbit hunt with or me to grouse hunt with. Ya ya, my son should get good with the .22 and take rabbit head shots at 3k yards. Of course the rabbits are thick down here in rural urbia where we can't shoot.

Get it new, there are many configurations so be honest with yourself how you are going to use it and pick the one that best suits your needs.

My advice would be be to buy one for the boy and one for yourself if it is feasible.

Maybe one a hunter model and the other a break down. Grab a couple extra mags too.

I have 5 different back country ski rigs with crampons and skins, spare Dynafits, 3 beacons, shovel, 2 ski packs, 2 sets of poles, 4 pairs of touring boots, and 50 pieces of touring wear. Yet I don't ski well enough or have the ability to climb high enough to really need 90% of it.

It's not like I don't know where many of the John Wayne gunfags here are coming from. I get the attraction/addiction to toys.

    Be honest about it.

You don't need all of it.

No real need to carry in Jackson. But when I go to Rock Springs or Cheyenne for work I'm always armed. Even with a crazed hubby wanting to kill me, I don't think being armed and shooting him will solve their marriage woes. He's not the type to have a firearm anyway and pretty sure he's prohibited person due to drug offenses.

Back on track... another 10/22 recently added to the collection.

Did I "need" any of this? No, but Rosa Parks didn't need to sit at the front of the bus either.

Let's get this back on track.

    First, yes she did.

    Second, WOW!!

The little Freudian connected interjection that popped into your head as a first thought is the tell. You are not helping your cause by telling us you are a latent racist and that fear the black man is a part of your killing fixation. Actually you are identifying probably 70% of those who feel the need to have a weapon. Racism.

No you are not. You may not miss the AR-15 but, I assure you they will find something to take away that you will.

You dont need to hunt either. Plenty of stores that sell food.

With all these avalanches killing people maybe we should ban skis and snow boards. Then sue the ski areas out of existence.

You dont need to be in those mtns.

Lets keep doing what does not work thinking it will have a different outcome this time.

    You dont need those rights.
