Ya, we should regulate those things, require insurance to have them in public places, carefully screen drivers, have a registry of who owns what VIN numbers, etc..

I do see a potential marketing issue with the "militia" series of firearms, if marketing is the angle one wants to persue: https://franklinarmory.com/products/...series-ar-308/

Wide spread anecdotal evidence would appear to contradict this idea.

The denial by the USSCT may be a precursor to "let's see what happens" before taking action. It was a close vote. I suspect irrespective of what happens in the state court system the USSCT will see the case again.

Somedays, I have faith that a competent jury makes a good decision. All will be micro-scrutinized before and after a decision. Trouble will be ferreting out a "true" impartial jury.

I already miss the old Remington. My opinion on the whole affair is very nuanced. This isn't how they should go out. However, everybody gets their day in court.

Remington has made a mess in their own house the last several years.

Be that as it may this lawsuit about marketing is the worst kind of tripe. It will get knocked down as it should.

You do not sue car manufactures because the speeder who killed the family was watching a Dodge commercial.

Next up is suing ski manufactures over print ads that show folks skiing off cliffs when you tomahawked into next week.
    watch out for snakes

Precisely why this action will fail.

Otherwise, marketing a Corvette or a Mustang or a Challenger to a 19 year old will result in litigation against the manufacturer.

Just put my app in on DA Nomad for a new 6.5 CM CA MPR I have on order. I know those rifles have mixed reviews but a 10 lb suppressed chassis rifle just sounds cool.

Hope you do not end up waiting too long. Heard folks were getting stamps in 4-5 months this year.

Used to be a year or more.

Guys at the shop said it's a crap shoot. They said they've recently seen 3 months and they've also seen a year.
