You say that like it's a bad thing. ...greasy grimy gopher guts... As a kid on the farm gophers (woodchucks) were the enemy. It being the early 70's and my parents being peaceniks and granolas, my mom used a bow to pick them off so they didn't eat all of our winter food from the garden. She was a good shot. Silent death.

I got my XD .45ACP back from the gun smith. The part where it cost 75$ to "Grind Out" the stock sights gave me pause. But here it is. Looking down Tri Glo Optical Tieridium sights.

It shoots nice. Still getting used to the difference in elevation in the sight picture. But! I can see the sights in the DARK!

I hear ya. Except watching mom pick them off with a bow was pretty cool. It was truly a thing of beauty. I was impressed and could only ever dream of being that accurate.

You paid 200 for nightsights you’ll likely never need. My strap just came with em. 45 boom boom

It was 200$ to buy them and have them professionally installed. I shoot in a pistol league that routinely has a low light or night course. I shoot at dusk or in the dark regularly. It's soo cool to see the big ass flame when you shoot in the dark!!

I put a couple hundred rounds through it this evening after posting. HAPPY

I was perplexed on which scope. Was looking at a Swarowski, and they were pretty pricey. Have had that and Leupold's in the past. Was looking at a Vortex as well. Guy building the gun recommended the Trijicon. We will see how it does.

I've made an effort to stop buying guns for a bit and focus that cheddar on ammo. Lots of ammo. Bulk prices are reasonable and I like taking friends shooting, and they never bring enough.

I've loved every Leupold I've ever used. I like my Vortex a bunch too. At the time, it was as good as a Leupold but at about half the price. I think they've started to climb up in the market though.

Sounds like you've already made your decision. Keep us updated on what you think of the Trijicon.

I've always wanted to use an M72 spent tube as a poster tube. I don't think there's anything technically illegal about it, and I doubt any non-veteran TSA guy would have a clue what he's looking at.

How do you mount the pressure pad for the flashlight on P365 grip module? Mine has zip ties and looks kinda ghetto.
