I agree. But I think a SIG 357 barrel would be one bad ass gun.

Box of 50 for 40 bucks for cheap cowboy plinking ammo around me. Not to bad considering what's going down range.
Hunting loads are expensive but I'm ok with that

I typically pay <$30 for a box of 20 Hornaday leverrevolution rounds.
Still expensuve, but not that bad compared to any other large caliber ammo.

That round will stay with us, but it’s expensive. But you have to ask yourself what .357 mag costs, or 44 mag? None of that’s cheap. I’d like to get a new revolver, and this will substitute that. .357!Sig has the same energy at 100 yards as a 9 mm at the muzzle. Plus you have the 40SW barrel for cheaper shooting.
I may sell a new 870 tactical I bought and just call this my house gun. Now I just need some Dept to u load a few.

I just bought this early Gen 2 g17. 1990 mfg. Looks pretty darn clean. I think it’s been sitting in the basement of a PD station. Mag is marked leo only.

Neat! I have a gen 4. I'm quite certain I'd like the non-finger-ridged front strap of the gen 2.
My excitement of the week is a Ruger Mk4 standard 4.75" from gunbroker. It should be here in the next few days. For some reason, I don't have a 22 pistol. It should pay for itself in about 2k rounds vs 9mm.

Heavy barrel?
My Ruger MkII with bull barrel and target sites is probably the most accurate pistol I own.
I predict you will enjoy it quite a bit.watch out for snakes

My buckmark is a tack driver. Best gun I’ve ever owned and my first handgun. Sent it to browning for a free tune up.
