There really is a reason for that!!

great TR, thats awesome you were able to see so much on just one trip.

How was the Resurrection trail? I've never been on it in winter, though if I remember right that Juneau Lake cabin is one of the nicer ones back there.

The Resurrection Pass trail was pretty easy. We took the short cut from Bean Creek Road in Cooper Landing. The total vert was something like 800 feet. It's ideal for XC skiing. The trail was packed down from snowmobile use. There were snowmobile tracks everywhere, although there was also a sign that snowmobile use was not permitted past mid-Feb so I don't know the whole deal there. It would be so fun to bring in a bunch of supplies via snowmobile to a cabin and just spend a few days there skiing.

Sweeeeet TR! What an awesome trip lady!!

Pirates are cool and I'm not a fan of heals either.

You are lucky to have met Kellie. She definitely is one awe inspiring magette on here and your words just make it even moreso.

I'm definitely moving Alaska higher on my priority list of places to hit .

You mean to tell me that on the same trip to Alaska the headwall, monies, and new years were all open, it wasn't raining and unbelieveably shitty in Whittier. And you went out the Ressurection pass trail and didn't get run over by an idiot on a sled? How much of your karma did you use up? Its Always shittier in Whittier, the headwall never opens and neither does the monies. I live here and I'm jealous.

That trip looks amazing! Nice work on getting all of those turns in. AK is high on my list. Alyeska looks insane.

And from the short amount of time that I have spent with Kellie, I completely agree with your assessment. She is a rare breed and a good person to boot.

Thanks for the sharing the pics!

Ha! I think I used up quite a bit of karma on this trip! I had good luck almost the entire time. It makes up for a nearly entirely shitty trip to Las Lenas a year and a half ago though. Got shut down pretty much the entire time. You win some, you loose some!

Thats why I live here. We just hit 800 inches of snow at Alyeska this year and more on the way. It's been a great year up here. Plus there are some big plans for the resort that should make it even better.

Awesome. That gets me psyched for my trip up there this June. I'd like to pick your brain about where to go sometime. Looks like a blast.
