TR: Oversea Filthiness: Maggot Star-studded Fantastic Puke Fest
Revisions, revisions. The epic taste of a trip report. How do I make this nice? Well:
IT all began not long ago, several weeks ago to precise. In an effort to exploit and capture the essence of the american dream in the land of europe, I knew it was completely necessary to rendezvous with my compatriot and henchman, DREWAlto, Skylanikilobomb, and RyanL.
As previously noted, I met up with Alto after his intergalactic fencing
tournament just after he sacrificed his lock of golden mullet to ride the earth
of man kind's scourage and save all of humanity from their sins.
After sending his new wife cindy back to America, where she was born, we returned to mc donalds and discussed what lay next for team pious-hope. As four paladins, we had to return the hope to the lost, the land lost to the stench of great britain.
WHILE, the land was so far lost, we had but little hope.
Returning from outer space, I used internet technolgy to plan our angle of attack, while sky was building space/time/futureshag devices in helskinki.
Early on the first morning after arrival, I watched as alto and his fiancé parted ways and he sescured here in her launch vessel in order to jettison her back to Israel. Naturally, we got trashed and got up at 11 in which, comically, treated us to a day of neck deep pow on the Brevant side of the valley....
Me, checking for gold. Drew photo.
At the start, we couldn't let go of "the freeride" FREERIDERZ4lyfe!
The other side of the valley was simply smashing. As I mentioned before, I won't use handle names. Drew likes it.
It had blown in on this face and was "chuiso" but we couldn't vietato.
Nice textures and good light cured us of the pathetic sausage fest of the night before.
We lapped these runs all day and were treated to deep pow and amazing views cross valley.
A few days later, The Sky Doctor himself arrived with another seattle slaya RyanL.
We avoided the dog sniffing-ass style of walking 2 feet from your partner in order to surround and disorient other parties.
Sky and Ryan were convinced we needed to do it cascade hard-ass style and skin from the valley almost 10,000 vertical feet to the top of the Aiguille D'argentiere.
I was convinced we could take the Grand Montets Telepherique and still lose only about a half hour, sleep in, party, eat well, be happy, all those things. We suffered our way up and were able to beat the arching pow turns from the top of the grandes montets by a few minutes. Who cares, we're rad. After skinning nearly 10k, a nice shitstorm arrived while we were on the col, and scrapped our plans to ski off the other side.
THE M'FKIN LINE.
Early Morning. We like it.
As the storm moved in, the forces of evil were kept at bay. I however, lost it and started attacking the birds swarming my face.
We then lost all vis and skied down in a great torment.
Moving on, some high pressure came and we in we decided it was necessary to stay up high in order to get the prized jewel, the Les Courtes couloir/face. This radical line is over 1000 meters from the valley to the top shit-streaks of black ice. You know it when you see it. Too bad sky and I forgot our headlamps for our 3 am start time.
The next day started off nicely when sky over-stoked and skied into a crevasse. We laughed and pointed.
In great American style, we skinned 4-wide in order to triumph the beefits of capitialism in a socialist state like France.
In great American style, we skinned 4-wide in order to triumph the benefits of capitialism in a socialist state like France.
We stayed the night at the Argentiere hut and partied hard in preparation for our 3am alarm.
Then, things got filthy.
Drew took this photo. It has my watermark because I'm a dick.
I didn't take too many pictures because I was busy carrying my giant FREEride skis to the top and cleaning the shit out of my pants repeatedly. We took a variation and went up the lookers right up a narrow very steep chute
I'm a dick again.
There was little room on the top to get comfortable and ryan and I put ours skis on a nice ice ledge he chopped which I then threw him off of into the abyss.
We need a specialist. Sky Dr.
This part looks nice, It was. Except for the black glacier ice underneath. Drew shot.
Drew.
The Courtes.
Then we rested at this shitty spot and drank hot wine and many coca colas. I also reminisced about the night before when I slipped on some urine verglass and fell into the shitter.
There will be more blood.Last edited by powdherb; 04-02-2008 at 09:52 PM.

Unquantifiable radness. It was about like this.
Looking towards Petchuli du Merde from the top of Juvenile Court.
They should name this mountain the Giant Tooth. Just a thought.

Looks like a cool place to spend the night. It's either Noah's Ark or that Jawa thing from Star Wars.

Incredible. One of the sicker TR's all year. Bravo, gentlemen. Looks like a bast!!!!!!!!!!
Skiing, whether you're in Wisconsin or the Alps, is a dumbass hick country sport that takes place in the middle of winter on a mountain at the end of a dirt road.
