I can't believe you are a rando racer because I look so much better in Lycra than you.

Powder snow skiing is not fun. It’s life, fully lived, life lived in a blaze of reality. What we experience in powder is the original human self, which lies deeply inside each of us, still undamaged in spite of what our present culture tries to do to us. Once experienced, this kind of living is recognized as the only way to live–fully aware of the earth and the sky and the gods and you, the mortal, playing among them. Dolores LaChapelle

You Jackass! The crew and I have been looking at the Jim Wolf Chute/Crag area all year and saw the tracks a few days back - great disallusionment followed.

Now I have some separated ribs due to a rendevous with a tree in the old windows back in February, finally reinjured it enough to take a day off. Keep killin it man!

*giggle* I expected "that's dangerous" not your response. There will always be tailings piles. The weather does infinately worse than one skier.

    Nice work Summit. Great TR!
LOL on the two stars... there's someone on here who expresses his undying love for me by using about 10 aliases to vote 1 star "terrible" on every TR I put up... they've been doing it for a year or so... no way to tell who unless Suit spills... rather cowardly of them but I pretty much forgot about it since it doesn't show up in the "new posts" search plus people seem to vote it back up and I would rather that thread ratings be done away with altogether. It's pretty pathetic, no?

as an aside regarding mining structures: I understand the significance of saving "historical structures" but these wooden buildings will be gone very soon with or without human help. we have the capacity to document and explore all of these "historical structures" but once that's occurred, why not burn those fuckers down to white ash so people can play in the mountains without seeing the scars on the land inflicted by people in a time when they (arguably) didn't know any better?
