Bunch of Random 2008 St. Anton Shots

No time for commentary now. I may edit later.

Guy shit his pants after dropping in over this cornice when it went with him. Nobody hurt. Real lucky.

After a long tour to Schroken. We missed the bus in Lech, so we drank beer.

Maybe it was too long a tour...

Avi danger was up so we skied windward sides. Had to downclimb some.

My newschool huck. I call it a "Twister."

    Getting silly after Mooserwirt...

    "The Playground", Zurs.

    More coming...

    Some more....

Very exposed line below Valluga Bahn I. The highest tracks in are ours.

    Meadow skipping...

It was so hard to pass this to look for a better line. It was the right decision.

    Walk to Langen Bahnhof

Maienweg hiking trail in summer. Nobody seems to want to ski it in winter.

A chick in Copenhagen told Herbie he looked good in these jeans. If only she could have seen the entire outfit...

    I like this one.
Since then it's been a book you read in reverse, so you understand less as the pages turn.

Dates are correct. I have been busy. Some work, some skiing.

Powder snow skiing is not fun. It’s life, fully lived, life lived in a blaze of reality. What we experience in powder is the original human self, which lies deeply inside each of us, still undamaged in spite of what our present culture tries to do to us. Once experienced, this kind of living is recognized as the only way to live–fully aware of the earth and the sky and the gods and you, the mortal, playing among them. Dolores LaChapelle
