Very funny Sol. Seriously, when will my skis be ready? I have some eXTrEMe skiing to do this weekend?

Pretty fucking awesome. Guy is playing by his own rules and no fucking generic system set up by The Man can possibly include his rare gift.

Hey wait a minute.... that's my slip!
I have to admit to doing that once in the past, and also to listing my weight at 50+lbs more than the hulking 150lbs I'm at on another occassion to get the DIN jacked up from 6-7. Last shop mount I had there was a III+ option that put the DIN 8.5-9.5.Move upside and let the man go through...

Ahh, the moment you try to convince the shop guy that you rip.
Isnt it easier to just crank up your DINLast edited by Dhelihiker; 03-13-2008 at 11:17 AM.

if you were worried about using them immediately and not adjusting by yourself, writing "DIN x" on the slip and initialing it has always worked for me. I'd think the guy would be open to more liability by accepting that you were obviously 50 pounds under what you're writing on there...

Hey, I have no problem adjusting binders or doing my own mounts, but when I'm paying for a mount I'd rather have them shop release tested at the DIN I plan on skiing them, not at the lower DIN I'll be cranking up to when I get them home. And for proper release for me on the current Px12ti's it's FL 8.5,FR 9.0,BL 9.0 ,BR 9.5, which isn't something I'd have done on my own with a posi-drive.
Anyway, the slip notations were quite a few years ago in my early 20's with MRR's.
I'll be in Utah for a week 3/22-3/29 if anyone wants to make some turns with an ex-level IV skier.Move upside and let the man go through...

Pozi-drive for mounting.
Large flat-head for DIN.

that is so dumb. the guy probably sucks too. If I'm getting a remount I'll just ask the guys to not change the din. They've always been ok with that.
ooooorrrrrrr you could just adjust it yourself.
Jesus- I'm a girl and even I know how to adjust my bindings.

<ot> Every girl I've ever helped/trained as a tech has impressed me by not sucking, not forgetting shit, and actually paying attention. Not every dude. </ot>
I wish I had a pic of the last one where the guy crossed off everything and wrote "RACER!"
Will that be one exclamation point or two, sir? Exclamation points translate directly to DIN:7881, don't you know?If you're a relatively moral, ethical person, there's no inherent drive to kiss ass and beg for forgiveness and promise to never do it again, which is what mostly goes on in church. -YetiMan

HA....funny shit Jim.
I can never remember, and end up putting one. Given my skis are all like 130 in the tip, they usually figure it out.Donjoy to the World!

Some of us have to keep the DIN at the shop setting if we want any chance of getting worker's comp when we break our legs... hence III+.
