Wanted - dead beacon
Seriously. Not going to try and revive it, not for a practical joke, etc. If anyone's got a non-functioning one that they should throw out just so it doesn't get used by mistake, I'll take it. Shipping + a couple bucks for the trouble.
Need it for a little "science fair" (as I like to call them) project I got going on.

I've got an old Ortovox that still works. And I have the headphone for it, do you need that too? I may even have the original owners manual. Apparently I'm a pack rat.
Tell me more about your science fair project.A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
