Wow this is great. So can any of you weather gurus out there confirm my hopes that this current pattern we're in will break down into a more west-to-east flow? We have a trip planned in 2 weeks to Jackson, really hoping/praying things go off between now and then. The above Loop is very pretty with the bright colors and all but I have no idea how to read it.

SNOTELS are confirming that this is shaping up to be one of top five worst years in SW Montana for SWE since recording began in the 1970s. It ain't 1977, but damn.

we have this going on right now
That big westerly flow is pushing some cold air. That one in the gulf is warm and moist. We have been getting dumped on all day. Two feet new in the last two days at 1400' probably twice that another 1000' up.off your knees Louie
