    Berthoud tomorrow?

Just curious if anyone is going? I got the day off and would like to get out, I just need someone to ride with. Anyone interested?

I wonder how windhammered it is now? Avy report is high on all aspects and all elevations now. I think I'm going to stick to the resort.

CDOT still has Berthoud closed, so I'm not sure how much of a choice you have right now.

Seconded on the how windhammered question. Maybe a good time to test out the Praxis.
A lot of people earn their turns. Some just get bigger checks.

Well its not like I have never gone out on a day when it's red. It just makes you think a lot more and get a bit less crazy or alot less vert per run. I'm pretty sure I will find something fun that is reasonable.

This just gives me more motivation to do alot of reading today to get my knowledge honed for tomorrow and sunday. I guess it's not all bad that I'm stuck at home today.

I bet it's gonna be $$$$ up there tomorrow if you pick your destination right.

You are right though I didn't have a choice either way.

No Name will be gorgeous but I wouldn't touch it. Be very careful on that one mate. I might be down to go on Saturday but I am kind of cautious right now. Where are y'all thinking about?

Personally I have a low aspect in mind with a bunch of nice cliffs and even some pillows (very short headwalls), we'll see though as it sits below a bit of exposure depending on where you hit it or gain access from. I don't think I would touch no name either.

This was the area I am thinking of back in early december.

(this is one of many hits and headwalls, the pillow zone is below this headwall)

Keep in mind nothing is concrete and there are pleanty of other options, depending on what the conditions allow.

You are all missing the best option of all, the current creek cirque (ten little indians). Anyone with balls will be there with me on saturday! Russel should be super sick too.

Im sure your not serious but just incase anyone cares to know 100's doesn't go clean yet, my buddy tried last weekend. Hourglass was good last weekend, nothing moved at all. Lobster trap sloughed like crazy but the landing is pretty well filled in now(but the chute it's self is a bit thin still in the mid section near the tree).

Beyond that anyone else have any real plans?
