Silverton Mountain offers free skiing in exchange for lodging in Whislter
We are going to Whistler this month for our honeymoon. Does anyone know somebody with a condo, or a hotel hookup in Whistler that would consider trading for Silverton Mountain ski days. Current option is sleeping in car. Full trade or big discounts are what we are looking for.-AB (longtime listener, first time caller)

Umm, I wish I did. I was just there. The hostel is really cheap right now, empty, and pretty clean.

You could try Whistler Lodge if you don't mind university students on your honeymoon. Or you could try the Shoestring Lodge.
If you have a problem & think that someone else is going to solve it for you then you have two problems.

Whistler Condo
Hey, I have a 1 Bedroom Condo i Whistler that may want to trade 4shiz.
Just 2 questions.
1-What specific dates are you interested in?
2-What would be the specific trade? i.e. 2 -4 day lift passes free?
Just wanting to make sure I understand.

AB, someone out there's gotta take you up on this offer, but if not be sure to check out alluradirect.com. There should be pretty good rates on condos there this time of year. You rent the condos directly from the owners, so can get much better deals than going through the resort or other lodging companies.
Good luck!

Yeah, I know...now we know how to "out" JONG's. Cool of people to pop outta nowhere, though.

Obviously I am working too hard. I have not been to Whistler since January. Did not mean to mislead in any way. If the gondola is closed you are 2.5 miles away from Whistler Village. You make the call.

Yes, Silverton is a JONG, no question, but I think we can give him honorary non-JONG status!
Let me just point out something. This guy guides skiers and snowboarders all winter long at the only place of its kind in North America, if not the world, THEN he and his wife decide to take their honeyman where? at a ski resort! Stoke on. Hope someone hooks you up.
And to tleitao: I didn't mean to imply you were misleading, but I thought the fact the gondola 50' from your condo isn't running now was probably worth mentioning. If AB wants a quiet, romantic honeymoon he probably would want to stay somewhere other than Whistler Village, so Creekside is worth considering.

Thanks very much for the help with this one everybody! Tleitao, please shoot me an email at info@silvertonmountain.com if you can. Looks like we might have some date overlap problems so we may or may not need to combine the stay at more than one place. Anyone who has any info can post it or send it direct to my email. Thanks much to all invovled here!-Aaron
