Stoke of the Week - Snow & Sunlight
In an attempt to keep some stoke flowing over the coming summer months, and get the board away from recent events, and at the risk of being jong'd and flamed, I will attempt to have a stoke of the week category every week. We can all post pics, stories whatever to stoke the stoke through the long summer months in line with the topic.
The inaugural category is the mixture of snow and sunlight. My entry...

This thread rules.
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

Wow! Carnivore actually managed to take pictures of the wind. Every one of those pictures is a really good depiction of a windy day at Mammoth.

these are such great pix. Nothing like a sunny day on snow. I've come to realize that maybe I have that Seasonal Affective Disorder or whatever it's called. I'm a new person in sunshine. (why the hell do I live in the foggiest town in CA then? not sure).
PaSucks - I just made your pic my new wallpaper. Love the "god rays".“Within this furnace of fear, my passion for life burns fiercely. I have consumed all evil. I have overcome my doubt. I am the fire.”

if anyone has the transworld snowboarding photo annual... there is a cool shot of a guy, i think boosting out of the pipe if i remember right, and the photog managed to get the sun right behind his board, but it's not like his board is turned with the base or the top sheet facing the camera, just the edge. so it's like this thin horizonal sliver of a line created by the snowboard with a starburst of sun popping from behind it right in the middle.... so if you can imagine that... sorry i don't have a copy to share on the inter-web....but it -does- fit this stoke category...and if you're bored.... you can go look for it and be occupied.
