    FS: 195 Praxis

I have a pair of 195 Praxis with the Black Smoke graphic that I'd like to sell.
No base damage at all and very minor top sheet marks.
They have been drilled once for 319mm boot sole length at 103cm from the tip per Keith's recommendation.
    I want $400 plus shipping.

Nothing. I love 'em in pow and slightly cut up pow. But in cut up mank (like today after 11am) they are a handful. So what the heck, I'll try a Spatula-type ski.

I could get some Spats but I think I'd like a longer ski that's lighter.
ARGs are too short for me at 6' 2" and 190 lbs.

Madens: I am thinking of destroying them and making them into a rocker with philistine techniques.

You're welcome to borrow mine if you want to check them out. Salomon 997, mounted at 103cm back (195cm version), for 316 BSL.

Though I'm hoping to be using them this weekend...

Not a 100% on the weight of a Duke solo, but my 195s with Dukes are heavier than my spats with 900s by a few ounces, FWIW.

Mank, they destroy, and the extra lenght is $$$.

I TOTALLY agree. When I tell people I used to ski Pontoons, but sold them they look astonished. Best Powder-specific ski I've ever been on, but absolutely blow when it gets tracked out. Praxis on the other hand rip pow and perform extremely well in tracked out. Glad I'm not the only one that recognizes the limitations of the Pontoons.

Did you find soft enough snow left over from last weekend's dump? What did you think of the Praxis?

I found some softening snow (not quite corn) skier's far left of Rose' Slide Side yesterday and took your Praxis through them once. They are different but seemed to handle the softening snow in a unique way and more authoritative manner. There is no pow here now and I hope to try them in some corn at Squaw's Broken Arrow today or tomorrow. Maybe take them to AK in April.

I think this thread offers the Praxis at a fair price. If I don't like them, I can flip them at minimal loss if at all.

Once you get them in pow and cut up pow, I bet you end up selling your Pontoons...

FWIW: praxxis 195 are the same weight ski only as spats. 185 praxxis are a little lighter, and 10mm wider.
