Without a guide, the best place to send you is the 7-11 of Tahoe - Powderhouse.

1. Get a road map if you're not familiar w/ the highways around South shore.
2. Take Hwy 50 to Meyers.
3. Turn left at Hwy 89 (going towards Kirkwood)
4. drive through flat Christmas Valley, then up the grade. After going about 2 miles past the Big Meadow trail head, the road will flatten out and you'll be at grass lake - about 1 mile North of Luther Pass.
5. Pull out and park in the big turnout at the right, exactly when the road stops going uphill and flattens out. You will see a big flat meadow just beyond this and at least a few cars parked here.
6. Skin up and ski down the nice round peak to the right of the highway. There will be a skin track and the snow quality will be good - especially tomorrow. Nothing burly, but good fun pow skiing.

And 666 - if you decide to hit up either Sierra or the Heave on Sat or Sun, give a shout out. Cause if you skip Kwood that means it's deep. And I'll likely be at one of those two myself, if it's really deep.

If yer too cheap to ski at Kirkwood then I'll grab a ride with ridefree so I don't have to hear Arty complaining about having to miss out on his back-door entrance.
