Summer Tahoe Summit
who's in for some wakeboarding, mt biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, climbing ...what am I forgetting? ... at one of the most beautiful spots on earth?
If you haven't been to Tahoe the summer, you'll be astonished. It's freaking spectacular.
How bout a weekend of the above festivities, with some beer drinking, smack talking, dart throwing, river lounging, gambling, bbq-ing, and stargazing thrown in?
anyone in? Maybe July/August?“Within this furnace of fear, my passion for life burns fiercely. I have consumed all evil. I have overcome my doubt. I am the fire.”

You betcha. I'm in! Good idea, WSD.
Biking, kayaking, bouldering....everything! Oh, and BBQ/beer. Sounds like a plan! August is completely free. Any weekend in July except for the one around July 4th. You're going to Mt. Hood, aren't you?

I vote for doing it every weekend. I'll probably be up there most weekends for hiking, mtb or just getting the hell out of the Sacramento valley.

Any time and I'll be there.
In there I envision a long summer Saturday evening filled with Zydeco music, a couple kegs of cold beer, and a big ol louisiana type boil with white corn and a crate of live crayfish that were flown into reno that morning.
And what Mr. Shoelaces said sounds good since my BDay is the very next day on the 23rd."Great barbecue makes you want to slap your granny up the side of her head." - Southern Saying

as long as I am in town, I am there......in Truckee most w/e's throughout the year: summer in Tahoe rules. I would be happy to take folks on some fun MTB rides: Flume/TRC combo, Hole in the Ground rocks, Toads, etc.....
also, depending on the w/e, could possibly host the BBQ on my deck in Truckee......

Count me in, but I'd prefer earlier in the month!
But either way, I'll probably be headed up most weekends . . . it wouldn't feel natural not making the drive on a regular basis :-)Everything in moderation, including moderation . . .

Yup - Toads should be good to go by then. And we should be in prime wakeboarding season.
So... July 9-11 - does that work for folks? Seems to work for those who've responded.
lph - you on call that weekend?
and I propose that for lego and shoe and any other birthday boys or girls that we all put on our party hats and throw em a little early bday - lobster boil/zydeco shindig/bbq or whatever.
keep the responses coming.“Within this furnace of fear, my passion for life burns fiercely. I have consumed all evil. I have overcome my doubt. I am the fire.”
