holy shit...This should probably have a NSFW tag on it. Mostly because I didn't want to cream my pants at the desk.
This pictures are phenomenal! In the running for best skiing pics I've ever seen."Oh, no pics. To simulate the skiing today, walk out your door, grab a handful of snow, and throw it in your face. Repeat as necessary.
If you don't have snow outside your door, what the fuck are you living there for?"

Awesome as usual Lee.
You probably have some of the best night skiing photos I've ever seen. How do you get such good resolution without blowing out the city lights (i.e. what settings do you use on the camera)
You posted up some night photos from Cypress Bowl a while back that were absolutely mindblowingLast edited by mtnjam; 01-23-2008 at 11:54 AM.

mtnjam. those were Pat's mountain shots from cypress - i learned quite a bit watching him do that.
I basically underexposed for lights leaving the background kinda dark. then i used the PS fillflash tool or mess with levels to get the background exposure up.
Also these were taken at full moonlight. I have some shots of the moon really blown out because it was so light. It would have been hard to get the snow bright without the full moon - the differences between shades would have been tricky to deal with

Were there 100s of virgins up there just waiting for you with baited breath? That's the only thing I could imagine making that tour better.
