    ^^ Not gaper. Bad-ass.

I've seen the same exact thing (also a Subi) around Reno a few times.

Went into a thrift store in Hailey, tbs was looking for a Bogner ski suit. Strolled into the equipment room in the back as my eyes meet the ski rack boom I was in heaven. Stockli, Nordica, Fisher, Volant...walked out with 2 pr of fis boards & clamps for under 200. Who's the gaper now.....

Gearing up for a fingers hike at bridger. Guy and 2 girls. Chick points to the hike and says "Is that where we go to "do" the pow" while simultaneously asking how to put on her beacon.

The turtle gear is a common sighting at Niseko. A Japanese local I was riding with was quick to tell me "NO NOT JAPANESE! FROM CHINA!" So I'm guessing it's a snowboarder from China or got em in China.

Yes I posted one earlier in this thread. But she was definitely Japanese in this case.

Lol one of my friends who barely skis said something along these lines after bragging that he was using the same goggles he did as a kid. Had to explain what a gaper gap was.

I met a guy who just returned from a week in Telluride. He said it "kinda sucked b/c I only brought my groomers with me."
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

In HS I was all of 135#, skiing 200ft vertical hills in SE MI on 210cm Kneissl Riesenslaloms--flat out GS racing skis, I believe the first fiberglass topped skis. The graphics had logos from all the Olympics Kneissl's had been skied, the most recent being Squaw. Those skis were perfect for those hills but the first time I ever skied them in actual snow in Quebec I was in trouble.
