This probably isn't uncommon but a couple days ago I came across a guy in the middle of a run slamming his boot down onto his binding over and over. I stopped and asked if he was okay. "Can't get the damn boot to go in!" I showed him how to press the heel lever down to raise the heel cup so the boot fits in there...yeah, that's it. He seemed a tad embarrassed.

I don’t see no gaper in that pic. Glide sucks on those skins I bet, but slipping on icy skintracks is a thing of the past.

Pretty sure that's Treebeard and those are the bones of dead gapers strapped to his skis. Hail Treebeard.

thats all i could see. Im jealous. Tiny feet are such an advantage in sports where quick feet and agility are important. i used to wear a full size too small cleats in football and baseball for this reason.

That's how you start backcountry. Go all decked out in the ski line. It shows you are serious. Mags will extend an invitation to tour with them.

I was skiing at Sugar Bowl in some early season heavy fresh a couple of seasons ago. I was on 106's. The ski team kids freeskiing on their GS skis were blowing me off the mountain.
