    Today on the 1600ft Keystone WROD...

    An adult male skier way ahead of me takes a 5mph slow-motion fall, and both skis eject, so obviously his DIN is set to about 3. I know I can stop in time, so I hockey stop hard, being very careful to make sure my spray doesn't bury him, and I pick up his skis for him. As I hand the skis to him, I notice a huge 3" x 4" sticker on the base of one of his skis. It's the price tag sticker, and it's only just barely starting to show signs of wear.

    Me: "Here ya go. When you get home, I recommend you remove the price tag sticker off your skis. That way, your skis will slide more smoothly."

    Gaper: "OK, thanks."

    This is standard. 95% of DPS skiers are total beaters. Dynafits, touring boots and backseat out of control. Moguls totally confound them. Douche Poser Skis. Yellowstone club ski of the moment.
