I honestly have no problem with this. What’s wrong with knowing you want to tour, then getting the gear and going into a resort to learn first? Seems like the right way to do it

If she was a friend, and truly a beginner skier, I'd suggest picking up a used setup with alpine binders on the cheap so that knees could remain intact during the inevitable backward twisting fall.

MRNP announces no weekday access to Paradise for the winter.

Fuck that. Pay enough money to attract more staff. It's the government, they can find the money if they actually give a damn.

OK, that would definitely suck,,,,, however I just got off the phone with someone in the office at Whte pass and she said that is NOT the case. She said whether the paradise basin and lifts were open would just be decided by conditions. She was optimistic for weekdays by mid december
