Not this weekend but this quote will irritate me for a long time.
I quit basketball my sr. year in HS to ski. so i join the (very casual)ski team having never raced before.
This turd in a speed suit on the way up a 600 ft slalom run on my first race day looks me up and down and asks "do you ski for bishop fenwick?" as it is written on my bib.
I say "yeah" looking at my bib and seeing the name and number on it.
Then i say "looks like we will be racing agianst each other?"
he then says while shaking his head, "No spyder gear? You obviously dont take your racing that seriously!"

2ndmate, was this douche from St Johns? I assume you are ripping the sick GS run next to the 'bump' trail at bradford.

1st one, really exhausted, breathing hard:

"Oh my god, i hate that powder, once you're trapped in there it takes ages to get back on the piste......."

2nd one, totally covered with snow:

"Yeah, we really picked the wrong week for our holidays, you can't even enjoy your run, always have to watch out for that nasty powder patches..."

They look at us, we're also covered with snow:

You apparently didn't read the second sentence in that post. Or maybe I was unclear. I wouldn't hold it against anyone for saying that to me. Albuquerque is definitely a sub-optimal place to live if you ski.

Hmm, yes, I didn't mean to use this ">" with the meaning of greater than. Simply meant to use it as an arrow. As in, hell, then texas (which is perhaps questionable as bite me notes) then the rest. I don't know where the rest of the midwest goes in there...never lived there.

Apparently you (Nick Papagiorgio) don't know the first rule of TGR: If you are going to respond to someone's post it is your responsibility to look at and completely read all posts they have posted previously. Then (this is still rule 1) you have to search the entire forum to make sure there was not name change. If you don't find any info regarding this on the current TGR forum it is YOUR responsibility to repeat this process on Big Lines, New Schoolers, Alpine Zone, etc.

IIRC, > is a segue without a pause (i.e, Tweezer > Izabella from 12/7/97, Palace of Auburn Hills), -> is a segue with a slight pause (Tube -> Dayton Jam from 12/9/97 Nutter Center)
