New Hampshire has been a mess. We got, by our standards, a lot of very good, light snow in two separate storms with very cold temperatures in between. Then it rained for two days. Then it got cold again.
Two weekends ago, the mountain was bullet proof and loud. As my three-year-old and I were coming into the lodge, some folks were waiting on the inside by the door.
Girl to guy, "Do you have your insurance card with you?"
Guy nods. They head out to the lifts.

Riding Littlecloud lift last Sunday the guy next to me, with an impressive gaper gap between his helmet and goggles, leans over, points to the sun shining through a thin tuft of clouds, and asks “is that the sun or the moon?”
Me: “umm, that’s the sun, it’s making its own light”
Him: “that’s amazing! You can look right at it!”
My 13 yo daughter: “did he just ask what I think he asked?”
Me to my daughter: “remember when I told you people were stupid?”
    Her: “Oh, yeah ok”

A little off topic, but I think I heard this chick at the grocery store say that shallots were just like scallions that the store was out of.

    Um, what?

I watched a guy walking to download the gondola drop his skis. He then hit them with his pole in anger and said yelled "bad ski" at them.

Have you guys not seen the Tipsy Elves onesies? They’re trying to make a big push... you can spot Moseley skiing around Squaw in one of those.

Grabbed a suit on clearance at Squaw on July 4 last year. $60 or whatever.

I was a target of their Facebook ads and had a hard time believing they were real.
