On a similar note I learned to lay my skis along the drivers side of the car while I unboot in back. Never on the passenger side if I'm driving alone.

Ha. My box opens on the passenger side of my car because I like my bike on the drivers side. I always lay my skis down on the passenger side before changing my boots. Well, last year I made it over a mile down from Abasin before, somehow, a little guy in my brain who wasn't high said, gee, did you put your skis in the box? Sure enough, there they were lying there in the middle of an empty lot with my poles when I got back. Lucky me. But stupid me.

I somehow survived skiing with one pair of goggles, replacing them when they fell apart or got too scratched, for 45 years. Now I have multiple goggles and multiple levels and I can't ski any better.

We were coming back from the artist point area and followed the road made by snow equip back to the lot. We see this dude trying his darndest but just sliding back down. Felt bad for the guy but he had no business being there. On an old voile split, shredded coat and one of those backpacks with string for straps. Strings for fucking straps! Dude had to be on drugs.

Loading a chair by myself, and just as I’m sitting down someone squeezes in beside me. I instantly notice the snoller blades.
