I'll back ice's Whistler claim (not that I needed to). I stepped into the bathroom of our condo for a late night piss, and overheard a conversation coming from the adjoining deck. Turns out, if you looked at the right angle out the bathroom window, you could see the neighbor's hot tub. I got to watch 2 girls strip and make out and such before they "talked business" with the guy. They came to an agreement and went inside...I assume to perform said business.

If I remember correctly, they were charging pretty reasonable rates, and that was when the US dollar was still pretty strong.

Not ski town related, but when I was on business in Sydney, AUS we hired a limo to take us to the beach and then the airport on the last day. On the way to the beach the driver asked us if we wanted "anything." Well, let's face it, the typical ski town dirtbag can barely afford to take a babe out for dinner, let alone pay for a pro. So the market, as I said, is probably mostly imported. Aspen and maybe Whistler are most likely exceptions. The former because of the ungodly amount of stupid money there all the time, and the former because it's so close to Vancouver.

Prostitution itself is legal in Canada, however communicating for the purpose of prostitution isn't. It's a way to control street solicitation I think. I believe living off the profits of prostitution is also illegal. I think that's a way to get to the pimps.

You forgot Vail, Park City, Sun Valley, Mammoth, North and South Lake Tahoe, Killington, .....

Prostitution is alive and well in Mt. Towns. A gal I knew (as a friend) back in the day in the Eagle Valley supplemented her income quite nicely with a little 'gift' once in a while.
