From Ohio eh.......gonna get some gills on that?
I use a 3 weight for gills/redeye/crappie. But for river panfish a 2 weight would be pretty fun. Actually it would be fun anywhere.
My buddy has a 000 weight sage that he uses. It is like casting sewing thread.Looking California, feeling Minnesota.

i got a TFO 6' 2 wt for a creek rod for $99
put a ross reel and line on it for another hundred and i love the thing. i live right on bozeman creek in 'downtown' bozeman, so keep it rigged up and ready to go whenever the urge hits me. it casts nicely out to 30 - 40 ft
of course, first fish i caught on it was a 18" brown trout. had a hard time turning his head, but was able to keep him out of some structure and land him."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
