    Loveland tomorrow?

On a related note, Fire Cut is my new Outer Limits, whose lines and bump shapes are also terrible.

There’s something to be said for skiers who can make garbage bumps look smooth any rhythmic. I feel like I do ok here for a washed-up Killington in the 90’s refugee. It’s actually kind of fun watching the handful of wigglers running hot laps from the lift.

See, you're a better skier than me, and that's why you can find the flow when the bumps don't hand it to you on a platter. I learned from skiingislife about skiing the lift line, although it took me a long time to get the courage for it. Now I'm hooked on Resolution lift line at Copper, where everyone is watching. It makes me concentrate and ski my best and with the well shaped bumps and my music, I can find the joy of it.

I really miss spring amateur bump contests. Anyone want to duel?

Cooper put one on two years in a row, but the last one was three years ago. Low attendance, but it was still a blast. Fire Cut would make a really good venue (for 3 towers) but prolly even lower turnout than what Cooper saw.

Thinking about heading up for an afternoon solo mission, once I get this basement workshop cleaned up and organized. Would be nice to ski with people... Red jacket, orange pants, Black Crows Atris. Say hi if ya see me, I’ll be the one skidding pizza turns down #6 Headwall.

    Dammit.

I ended up just skiing chair 1 all afternoon yesterday. I still haven’t skied the elusive #6 Headwall.

Well, since Vail is the best resort in the world, if we apply the same logic;shortest steep to longest flat, then yes.

I think the Headwall tops out at 53°, narrowly beating out 52° Wild Child.

    Loveland tomorrow?

Posting up some stoke for once. Actually got to ride 9 today. Beautiful bluebird weather & zero wind, I love spring skiing!

Took advantage of being on the Ridge & hiked Wild Child > Velvet Hammer to Tickler > Velvet Hammer.

Patrol was snowmobiling the cat “raod” on North side but I didn’t see them giving many tows.

I’ll be around this afternoon. Turquoise pants, darker blue jacket, vaccine sticker on helmet.

    Loveland tomorrow?

Kind of a meh afternoon. Blew my motor on the way up, limped into the parking lot after blocking traffic for a while. Haze and not much traffic kept things from really loosening up, but scored #6 meadow/headwall for some slarvy goodness. I was going to try and connect #6 from Porcupine Saddle, but missed the 2:30 cutoff.

Tomorrow’s going to be good I think. Shooting for noonish with wifey’s rig.

Porcupine Saddle was pretty good after 1. Everything lower down was skiing really good. Consistency was incredible. So much fun to push the edge that hard and get nothing but smooth arcs for days.

I made 8’s with someone’s tracks along the right rope on Porcupine. Went a little right of #6 headwall gnar which was a little less tracked. Great day.

Any word on if 4 packs will be offered next year? Can’t seem to find anything on their site yet.

Why would they stop offering 4 packs? They don't put them up for sale until August at earliest.

How else are they supposed to c-word up the lot with gapers on closing weekend?
