Someone on Reddit posted that he left his G3 Alpinist skins (red bottoms, fitted to ~180cm skis) in a small tree on the NE side of Loveland, above the unnamed access road at the Loveland Pass exit (216) off I70. Approximate location was: https://goo.gl/maps/en3hGVZfo9H2.

If you happen to find them, I'll let buddy know. There's apparently beer in it for you if you find them.

I guess I'll see you freaks in line up tomorrow. It's been a few years since I did LL, do they roll 9 right at opening or is there a delay?

Kinda depends whether patrol has their shit together and has everything ready or not. If they still need to bomb things, run rope, etc. there could be a delay.

Cool thanks, I like early laps on 1 but will head right over to 4 if it's rolling for this momentous occasion.

There will be a slight delay for a gift exchange at the Rathskellar.

Yeah I think I’ll be at LL for a bit, too. I am kicking myself for not driving to Alta yesterday...damn me.

EDIT: looks like already an angry 3" since closing so there is hope

Sounded like they were bombing a lot from Abasin today. But that could have been the basin controlling the EW too. Didn't pay much attention.

Hey Loveland skiers (and all of Summit County area),

Feel free to BORROW my skis FOR FREE at my other thread during the JAN 12-21 trial period, and we'll find out if there's any interest in my Ski Lending Library idea.

I could drop off skis at Loveland, then I'd go ski A-Basin (on my EpicPass), and then I'd pickup skis at Loveland afterwards. Or feel free to propose other places to pickup/drop off skis.

In bounds avalanche at Loveland yesterday between a bowl and otr. Triggered by skiers ducking a rope to the right of a bowl. Apparently it slid to the open traverse below. Be safe out there and don’t duck ropes!

Does this page change daily based on conditions or does it just mean it's open for the season?
    https://skiloveland.com/trail-lift-report/

Any way to tell if 9 was rolling today?
The web cam timelapse appears to be blacked out?

I was told by a reputable source that the Ridge has not been open the last two days.

Therefore I am sitting in the parking lot right now staring up at Loveland hoping to get some wind fucked pow action today.

    Loveland tomorrow?

Everywhere at the mountain today was soft and loaded. So stoked. When the Ridge opened it was super fast pow with great landings and lots of snow to track out.

Goddamn that was a great day.

I just finished my last run down the rope line past over the rainbow and was still skiing super soft and untracked at 2:35 PM.

Interesting how it was more windfucked in north chutes than it was off the ridge. Rode a chair with patrol and they said delayed opening today was mostly windchill related at -17...
    Nice turns for sure.

Has anyone used their Grand Targee days? What does the fine print mean where it says not valid if you book your room online? Seems precarious to drive to Tetons without accommodations reserved?
