Anyone on Facebook?
I'm late to the game, never even joined My Space, and this isn't my sort of thing, but... if you're on, and I know you (particularly in person), lemme know, we'll play Scrabble or I'll send you a growing gift or something.

Hi YC. I am. I'm currently enjoying kicking Roo's ass at scrabble. I'll PM you.

Lots of people mention FB to me these days. This thread prompted me to sign upo with a test account, just to take a look. Bloody hell, it freaked me out. Everyone in my gmail address book suddenly appeared. It was waaaay too personal. Friends, former co-workers, people I hardly know. I didn’t want to see some of their pictures either, they looked silly.
Talk about an uncomfortable feeling of exposure. MSN Messenger used to freak me out, but FB has taken it to a new level. It looks like a lot of people can have some fun with it, but its not at all for the hermits. Does anyone else feel like that?
I deactivated the test account pretty fast once I realised my email address was in the system.Life is not lift served.

I understand your feeling of concern. But also know that you can NOT let facebook login to gmail and start contacting all those random people, I think. That way you can choose who you want to friend as you see fit.
Agreed. Joined the maggot group as well: glad there is a separate group from the pretty damn huge TGR group (though there was a maggot thread there).
