Surfy, DEEP, fast pow at LL today. Luckily beat the 70 closure. South Chutes open, and 4 was being dug out. Was still hammering when I left a little past 11:30am...I would say 15" or so by then.
You should have been here yesterday!

You wouldn't be able to get there anyway.

Righteous day at WP. Gotta love waking up to a loaded snow stake and a closed Berthoud Pass. Engledive, Bash, Balch, Retta's and other Parkside awesomeness made for a memorable morning on the slopes.

I have a feeling the gullies will be soon...like this week (if they don't rip to the ground).

Hope so. I was surprised they had Pali open first thing today. Good work by ski patrol. Waterfall was closed initially but opened and was pretty awesome.

I’m really happy with how this season is shaping up so far. Now I just need to get back in shape for this shit!

It almost reached 50* at 8200' and was a sloppy mess around town.

Major inversion today.... at 5pm, it was 30 degrees warmer up high than it was down on the Front Range (38* vs 8*). Crazy.

The basin absolutely delivered yesterday morning. Only skied til 11 since I had to work but even with the little bit larger (mostly ikon pass) line at pali you still never waited more than 5 minutes to get on the chair. That's the busiest it gets there now and it really wasn't that bad.

Line also looked longer because of the new maze design, agree that it wasn't too bad.

Yep, maybe waited 10 minutes on my 2nd lap.....but it wasn't bad. Took a couple runs through West Woods (RIP) in the Beavers and rode the lift with some Ikon Frangers that didn't get there til almost 10am and parked in the upper most part of High Noon along the road.......so even with the lots mostly full, it wasn't bad. Granted, I think quite a few of us drive solo during the week due to work/schedule reasons.

It’s like 60F (ok 45F) on Breck Main Street today. Mashed taters and lots of gravy.
