Sorry to report, this storm is going to be a bust for I-70 corridor. Too warm. Summit county will do better. Vail is going to get pissed on by Auburn again.

Too many Debby downers on this page. Nuking at Loveland Pass — just got several laps in before they spun the lifts; great base building snow should be a great weekend!Click image for larger version.

Careful in there. During the March 03 whopper storm those areas avalanched, along with areas on the I-70 frontage road. I was on CAIC road patrol at the time, and these where the first time we ever recorded avalanches in Mount Vernon canyon.

Green Mountain can ski pretty well after the right storm too. Pretty grassy and low angle.

Yup, Halsted ain't lying. There were also slides along I-70 on the S side of Douglas Mtn. between Dumont and Georgetown, and a slide on Republican that almost took out the Georgetown trailer park. Some debris is still visible to your right as you drive by the exit at 55 in the left lane.

I'm packed for west Denver to A Basin in the a.m. An early enough start should handle the I70 issue, but concerned there may be no work-around for the volume at the basin. Saturday + Fresh + Tday break week + other resorts "open" but with no terrain = lift lines might be so long I'll wonder why I bothered....what say you?

Unsure if you are an alias or actually enough of a JONG to defend your retarded worrying about Saturday lift lines when there are 3 runs open... yea... you must be an alias because nobody is that dumb... except all the JONGs driving up to stand in the A-basin lift line tomorrow.

The Professor slid into the parking lot. They're going to be closed until at least March maybe even April cleaning up. Stay home for sure.

Keep your SPAM quackery the fuck out of here. Long range weather forecasting is right up there with alchemy, as far as legitimate scientific pursuits are concerned.
