Snowed all day. So much snow. Eagle wind and C chair were just so so deep. Great Friday!

They didn't even groom willie's wide at a-basin today. I had to ski the whole thing with snow hitting my face every turn. It was awful.

Looks good for the next few weeks. Any chance Vail and BC extend past the 10th because of all the snow?

Breck today was awesome and surprisingly uncrowded up top. Great creamy wind filled snow. A little bit windy, but kept the snow from getting too warm.

I hiked to the extreme terrain today off peak 6 for the first time today. Pretty damn fun, although not nearly as steep as the lake chutes.

Looks like even more snow this week. Bring it on!!

Possible I guess but it would be just the front as they are slated to start ripping out 17 the day after close.

Since most of the people who will take advantage of the extended season are locals who paid for their epic pass long ago I doubt it. Plus the hundreds of employees who aren't scheduled to work. Maybe reopen select chairs for a couple weekends but full operations extended, unlikely.

Breck's site is now saying April 24 closing. Winter Park also say April 24, with Mary Jane running until May 7.

Wish the boat would extend...hard to say goodbye to lift-served when it's been this good. I thought for sure the new mucky muck would consider it. Logistics I guess.

I can't believe we start closing the mountains this weekend.. I'm sure we'll extend something to late April.

It's pretty crazy that the end is so close for lift served. Cheers to another season winding down!

Passes are paid for and tourists don't visit in April and May. Thats what happens when you abandon the ski area model for the ski resort model. Bummer that ski areas are a dying breed and everything is moving to the ski resort model. At least we have ABasin and Loveland.
