Made it out for a Taylor run last weekend with a buddy, just over 350 cfs. Nice and boney but have had worse. Was walking the Uncompahgre here in town today, may have enough to SUP for a week or two.

The Eagle between dowd to gyp is flowing really well right now. Get it while you can and the posers are glamping the gopro games. The upper upper C is fuct. 69 degree water temps? 300-500 cfs? I bet there are 12 dories out there getting banged up from pump to rancho and the fish are absolutely suffering.

And why are gas stations and markets still selling shitty firewood wrapped in plastic bundles? Ban that shit before bags, right?

Cools off in Denver to 86 tomorrow then back to 90s. 97-98 for days next week. This has to be a heat record for late spring. We are fucked.

80° in Vail for a week?! Fucking scary.

So what I’m hearing here is it’s hot and the snow is melting or the forest is on the edge of destruction. Sounds like regular Colorado.

    Sounds like a typical

Passed the fire before the highway closed. It blew up fast. Just terrifying this is happening IN THE SPRING.

June before the monsoons arrive is usually the hottest and driest month in the mountains. 80's are awfully hot for my neck of the woods, however.

Forecasted high 88F on Tuesday and Wednesday for Dillon. IF so, this will be an all time record high temperature for June, and 1 degree shy of an all time record high temp ever.

Over/under for how many fires start up this weekend. I’m going with 2 and take the over.

1 from an asshole throwing a cig out the window, and at least another from a smoldering fire from campers getting their #camplife #vanlife on

It was 81 in my house this week.....brutal. As bad of a start temp and precip wise it all depends on the monsoons. If they show up in July like normal we’ll be ok, if they don’t like last year....yikes.

Seems as good a place to ask as any. I’ll be going bouldering on the Western Slope next week and need to pick up some edibles. I’ll be driving through GJ on my way to Gunny/CB and Aspen. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Western slope is a conservative wasteland. The recreational supply is garbage. I have to go to Ridgeway for the goods.
