Good to see Eskimo getting some attention. I thought it was too far south for most maggots.

I grew up in the chatfield area so was pretty quick to just hop on 470 or county line and head there. Plus they were one of the first shops in the area to carry a whole lot of Armada stuff which I was stoked on at the time.

There used to be an Eskimo at belleview and Broadway where I lived for several years, gave them quite a bit of biz. Not sure if they always had two shops or just moved or what.

I think they closed the Denver store.

I used to go to Colorado Ski and Golf. But after they became Epic they couldn’t even mount a pair of skis. The Epic shop guys actually recommend Eskimo, and it’s been my go to shop ever since.

I wouldn’t trust anyone there but one person before but nothing changed but the name. They were owned by Vail long before the name change. Same employees no golf.

long range is not looking.. great. could really use a reset here. I mean the basin was still fun today but seems like more rocks are making there way back out, waterfall is skiing kind of rough for instance. the face was pretty smooth for ripping down fast.

Tomorrow's 1-3" should reset things nicely
North Glade & International were riding way better than Alleys on Sunday, but it's pretty beat out there. Sharpen those edges!

Just took all 3 pairs into Eskimo to get 'em sharpened and waxed.

Guess that'll guarantee at least 3 more weeks of high pressure.

The high alpine was skiing pretty well on Sunday even without much recent snow. Elevation and a little wind makes a difference.

Is it weird that I'm sitting here craving a big wind event to buff things out a bit? Them bumps are gettin big, or the troughs are getting deeper, can't tell.

Iceboat serving up the #ChampagneIce, getting full mileage out of my rock skis this year. Light flurries now for some dust on crust action.

I was hoping we'd get massive dumps to scare away the new covid wfh'ers that hate shoveling, now I'm thinking maybe they'll leave because we're not getting shit. Double-edged sword for sure. Wishful thinking...

^ and yet my wife says the covid transplants she works w/ have been complaining about all the snow and lack of sun. Aside from a few inches here and there the last storm cycle here was 3+ weeks ago from what I remember.

    WTF?

Dafuk? 2 hours for 2ppl is $1,200 (cheap wine) or $3600 (Dom). $600-$1800/hr to sit in a small box on Ajax? Who the hell comes up with this shit?
