I like using the hourly forecast on the NOAA.gov page. I’m seeing pretty warm temps. I want big numbers but it’s barely dipping in to the high 20’s. I’d be skeptical of uber high amounts. Then again elevations and miracles can happen. At least in F1 racing.

Yeah, it appears to be dumping. Bummed to miss it but I'll ski Keystone tomorrow for the first time in 30 years tomorrow with my brother and his mostly grown up kids. It'll be fun but keeping my expectations low, ha.

Several years ago I saw a playbill for this group on my way home for Christmas. I had no choice but to steal it and give it to my nephews as a present. Likely my high water mark as uncle...

From Monarch today. They are a sunny day from hosting mud wrestling events.

Frank is a far, far better skier than I'll ever be but I don't know if he can ski backwards

Embrace the new Jurassic. It was dumping at 11k from noon on, but raining down at the truck. When Cali drops into the ocean Powderhorn will be the new Tahoe.

Never would have thought that base elevation in CO in December would be a thing. Low elevation areas like steamboat are going to feel it in the future.

    Not bad CB.

Been snowing hard and blowing sideways in Silverton since yesterday evening. Maybe 6" on the ground? Hard to tell with all this wind.

The same thing happened about 9 years ago. Rained in town. Dumped up high. All Christmas week. The skiing was awesome.

14” so far on Highlands with a lot more in the forecast.
