Plus, It’s not exactly a crowded groomer down. I was there during XGames and they sold 129 bottles that day.

I used to work at Twister (now Uley's) in CB and do fondue dinners at night. There were multiple occasions when a table would have more than one bottle of wine apiece. At which point these intermediate (at best) skiers would ski down the mountain, in the dark. I was glad I didn't have to deal with that mess and was just cleaning up...

I'm not doing it, but if I were, I'd avoid the groomer. Judging by their drink menu, they are trying to prevent intoxication in general.

How you gonna have beer on the menu and not have one Colorado brew. F'that, Slow Pour Pils is the one of the finest pils out there and perfect apres drink.

Agree 100%. I could get into the politics behind that, but let's just say that Abasin only supports local when it benefits them from a marketing standpoint.

We made it to Durango last night.
    It's still dumping. Big flakes.

Anyone happen to know a good place to skin near Durango just for a little exercise? Other than the Nordic center and ski Haesperus before 4pm? Looks like Purgatory doesn't allow uphill traffics...

anyone else find it funny that other threads (other than the I-70 one) are now seeing usage in this forum? Always felt like this was our secret little Colorado TGR hideaway.

The big snow hasn’t kicked in yet, but yeah , stellar day with Hawkgt and company at Silverton. Faceshots all day off the heli and lift. Colorado pillow drops were money.

    Tomorrow should be awesome!

We are still the undisputed king of this sub-forum with nearly 3.7 million thread views. All other snow conditions and weather threads bow before us.

Started puking here about a couple of hours ago. Wolfy reporting 19" fresh over past 24 hours, with heavy snow expected for the remainder of the day.

Going to the Purg on Sunday to meet up with a friend.
    Daniel Ortega eats here.

Should we start a new thread called "Guess that ShitShow?"

This one is fairly tame... but can you guess the location?

I'd wager the "hardcore locals" at Purg are gonna be bitching this evening about crowding.

Oh - and FUCK Breck. If I never ski at that shithole again, it'll be too soon.

People in Aspen would freak if they saw a line that big.

Snowmass had a inch this morning with light flurries. Coming down pretty good now.

Would you get a line like that if they received 24" in 24 hours?
