I took The 70 up to The 6 and made my way over to ABay to schralp some gnar. Sadly, ABay was at low tide, so I got some wicked core shots.

For real. It's deep around Silverton. I'm jealous of anyone hitting Silverton Mtn this weekend. It is going to be good there.

Finally got mine. I fucking love pow days.

T-ride has 30+ in the last couple three days and more later this week maybe. That should get it caught up a little.

They'll get a bunch of wind and the really good stuff will rip to the ground. Fortunately, at that point, there might be time to start over and have March be... decent?

We were there Saturday, anything off trail was in pretty rough shape
It looks like they opened some additional runs off Gold Hill. Great opportunity for a free stone grind.

Ouch. My friend just came back from there the week before this latest snow. New skis this season and the edges were absolutely ravaged. No core shots though. They didn't even wander off trail.

Thursday should be a good and uncrowded midweek powder day. Either skistoned or a baseweld should deliver the goods!

Is anyone else going to go skiing tomorrow?

Speaking of T-ride, what’s the best shop to get a tune? I’m an even bigger tech Jong, so I’ve no clue if my bases need any work done on them.

Friends are trying to get me to go to CB this weekend. I can't see it....holiday weekend and neither High Lift or North Face lift running. Any locals with insight on whether the worthwhile terrain may open soon? Thinking March is the better bet at this point.

Unless it started snowing hard multiple times per week, I’m not expecting any uncrowded powder days for the rest of the year. But I’ll definitely be skiing tomorrow.

I took the dog for long run and showed up at the Mass at 10.
Took four uncrowned/untracked 2000/ft runs, then left because tomorrow will be better.

Think Banana slid on the front side today, and Gunni area is red for avi with the coming storm. So, i'd guess a no for openings??

The shit snow helps temper the fact that CB no longer gives 3 free days on the Lland pass. That was so fun while it lasted.

If that’s your way of inviting me to crash in your guest bedroom I can be out for a couple days over this next storm.

You know I’m an Aspen guy, but Snowmass has been off the hook!
