The pack is so thin on the Front Range that these temps are going to incinerate it quickly if we don’t get some good April/early May storms. Very concerning.

Just read that this is the snowiest start to a year for Boulder, ever: 75+ inches since January 1st. Yet the hillsides still caught fire, that's kind of crazy.

    Saw that, that’s insane.

Also crazy to think Boulder has gotten 75” since Jan 1 while Mammoth has gotten 14” 🤯

Storm coming today. Maybe a decent amount stacked by Weds. Took a break from steep lines for stability and hope it pans out being patient.

Today is the 4th day in a row hitting 50 in CB. Once it gets cold later this week I think we should be pretty locked up on all but the most northerly of aspects.

Heading to Vail for a conference next week, will be able to ski Wed/ Thurs. Never been there and it looks like some wet precip early next week and 20’s at night mid 30’s to 40’s. Probably only bringing one pair of skis, mFree 99 or mFree 108?

My daily for Vail is 99. But I am no spring chicken.
I don’t know what your plan is, but if it is just you or a small crew, I can probably be able to break away for a few hours and give ya the lay of the land on Wed.

I live in Maine so yeah I got ice schralpers, they’re staying home.

Could bring two pairs but I’m gonna keep it simple and bring one. 99 is probably my gamer

Nice, don’t have any meetings until Friday. Staying somewhere close to some lift is all I know.

    No spring chicken here either

Probably around Lionshead, but either way it’s all close. Let me know. Depending what you like to ski, I can point you where to go and depending on conditions show you a few others. Got some OG Cochise with demos if Thursday you feel like you should have brought the 108’s.

Those 95's you sold me are still my daily driver. Thanks again.
Imo, if it snows several inches, more width is good for the bowls. If not, not, as there will be bumps and long runouts, access cats to different areas.

Bomber day today, base was not hidden by pow at 9am, but it mostly was by noon, and getting deep in pockets by 3.

Wind was rippin all day, will be slabs and bare spots for sure tmmrw.
